Change of Immigration Status
General Requirements

Form F-004 (Free of charge).

Receipt of payment - Banco de la Nación for procedure (S/. 58.10). (The office is located in the first level).

Copy of passport or Alien Card.

Andean Immigration Card- TAM.

International Exchange Card – INTERPOL (Residents) (You can do this procedure after you have submitted the file).

Receipt of payment at Banco de la Nación for change of immigration status:
 
To temporary visa (US$ 50.00).*
To resident visa (US$ 200.00).*
To immigrant visa (US$ 300.00).*
  (*) Cancelable at the approval of the file.
  Those who are exonerated of payment of the rate of immigration are contained in the Article 3 of Supreme Decree N º 206-83-EFC.
Note:
Power of Attorney or Letter of Guarantee must be legalized by a Public Notary.
Worker
In addition to those general requirements, submit:

A copy legalized by the notary or the attestor of DIGEMIN of the labor contract approved by the administration authority of labor, by the maximum term of 1 year (temporary visa) or the minimum term of 1 year (resident visa), with the exception of the cases mentioned in the Article 3º of Legislative Decree Nº689 and its regulations Supreme Decree Nº 023-2001-TR. (See the chart located in the right side).
Worker of a Foreign Company
In addition to those general requirements, submit:

A copy legalized by the notary or the attestor of DIGEMIN of the labor contract among the foreign company and the natural or legal Peruvian person who receives the service.

The original document of the designated person issued by the foreign company, legalized by the Peruvian Consulate and Ministry of Foreign Affairs or with the corresponding apostille, indicating the period of services in the country.
Note:
If these documents are in foreign language, they should be translated into Spanish by an official translator.
Investor
In addition to those general requirements, submit:

A copy of the constitution of the company legalized by a notary or endorsed by the attestor of DIGEMIN registered in the Public Register Office (SUNARP – Certificate of Public Registry) in which the interest appears with a minimum representation in the social capital of US $25 000 in cash or its equivalent in Nuevos Soles.

  In case of shares or participations transfer, submit the following documents:
  A copy of the General Meeting of stockholders Act and Stock Transfer Book or Public Deeds of participation transfer legalized by a notary or authenticated by the attestor of DIGEMIN.

The Feasibility Project of the business (if it is a new company) or the plan of business for two years (if it refers a company which is in activity), that includes five (05) new jobs in the period no greater than two years.
Rentier
In addition to those general requirements, submit:

A certificate which accredits that the foreigner will reside in Peru receiving a pension from his government, social insurance or revenue of national or foreign source.

 
Note:
If the certificate is issued in a foreign country, it should be legalized in the Peruvian Consulate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or with the corresponding apostille. If this document is in a foreign language, it must be translated into Spanish by an official translator.
If these documents are in foreign language, they should be translated into Spanish by an official translator.

Certified or authenticated copy of the original document attesting that the applicant receives a monthly income of not less than one thousand U.S. dollars which should be legalized in the Peruvian consulate and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country from which the income comes.

An affidavit of no having criminal record, police report and judicial record nationally and internationally.
Professional
In addition to those general requirements, submit:

A legalized copy of the authorization of Professional College in order to practice the profession in Peru or the Title recognized by the Board of Chancellors if there is no a Professional College.
Catholic Religious
Only the general requirements 1,2,3,4, and submit:

The letter of the legal representative of the religious congregation endorsed by the Dirección de Asuntos de la Iglesia Católica of the Ministry of Justice (when is domiciled in Lima) or by the bishop of the respective jurisdiction (when is domiciled in province), supporting the application, indicating the temporary time of residence. Moreover, the beneficiaries could do the activities related to teaching and health.
No Catholic Religious
Only the general requirements 1,2,3,4, and submit:

Registration certificate issued by the owner of the educational center with official acknowledgement countersigned by the competent authority or a certificate of work experience at pre -professional level or specialty for up to (01) year or minimun (01) year, as applicable.

Demostrate financial solvency that guarantees the payment of all the expenses of stay and study.

Document that indicates the consent of the parents or guardian, in the case of being a minor, this document should be authenticated by Peruvian Consulate and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the corresponding apostille.
Immigrant
In addition to those general requirements, submit:

Prove a minimum financial solvency of 10 ITU annual net incomes.

Minimum two (2) years of residence in the country.

Update Alien Card.

Up -to- date in the payment of the annual rate of Immigration Services.
Called of Family
To Relative in the Ascending Line, Descendant (Under 18 Years Old, Single Daughters, and Children Over 18 Years Old with Disability) or Spouse:
a) In Case of Being Relative in the Ascending Line

Birth Certificate issued from the origin country legalized by the Peruvian Consulate and endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
b) In Case of Descendant Under 18 Years Old

Birth Certificate issued from the origin country legalized by the Peruvian Consulate and endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
c) In Case of Children Over 18 Years Old with Disabilities

Birth Certificate issued from the origin country legalized by the Peruvian Consulate and endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Document that demonstrates the condition of disability.
d) In Case of Single Daughters Over 18 Years Old

Birth Certificate issued from the origin country legalized by the Peruvian Consulate and endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Certificate of No impediment legalized by the Peruvian Consulate and endorsed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
e) In Case of Being Married with a Peruvian Citizen

Marriage Certificate registered in the Public Register Office – RENIEC or legalized by the mentioned institution, in case of being issued abroad, it should be legalized by the Peruvian Consulate and endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
f) In Case of Being Married with a Foreigner Resident in Our Country

Original Marriage Certificate registered in the Public Register Office - RENIEC (if the marriage was fulfilled in Peru), or a similar document of their origin country, it should be legalized by The Peruvian Consulate and endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (if the marriage was fulfilled abroad).
Note:
In all the cases mentioned above if the documents are in a foreign language, they should be translated into Spanish by an Official Translator.
 
Important Information
Payment for Procedure: S/. 58.10 nuevos soles.
Procedure Timeline: 30 days.
